Hadith 25:267
Bishr ibn al-Sari narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from his father, from Ibn Abbas, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, never fought a people at all until he had invited them."
حدثنا بشر بن السري، حدثنا سفيان، عن ابن أبي نجيح، عن أبيه، عن ابن عباس، قال: " ما قاتل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قوما قط إلا دعاهم "
