Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:27
Ishaq—meaning Ibn Yusuf—narrated to us, from Sharik, from Khasif, from Miqsam, from Ibn Abbas, who said: "The sun eclipsed, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood, and his companions [stood] with him. He recited a long surah, then he bowed, then he raised his head and recited, then he bowed and prostrated two prostrations. Then he stood and recited and bowed, then he prostrated two prostrations; four bowings and four prostrations in two rak'ahs."
حدثنا إسحاق يعني ابن يوسف، عن شريك، عن خصيف، عن مقسم، عن ابن عباس، قال: " كسفت الشمس، فقام رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وأصحابه، فقرأ سورة طويلة، ثم ركع، ثم رفع رأسه فقرأ، ثم ركع وسجد سجدتين، ثم قام فقرأ وركع، ثم سجد سجدتين، أربع ركعات وأربع سجدات في ركعتين "
