Musnad Ahmad 25:323

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas: "That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the *mujaththamah* (an animal tied up to be used as a target for shooting) and the *jallalah* (an animal that eats filth), and that one should drink directly from the mouth of a water skin."
