Musnad Ahmad 25:325

'Abd al-Rahman ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Malik, from 'Abdullah ibn al-Fadl, from Nafi' ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The previously married woman has more right to herself than her guardian, and the virgin is to be asked for permission regarding herself, and her permission is her silence."
