Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:341
'Ali ibn 'Asim narrated to us, from 'Ata', from Sa'id, who said: Ibn 'Abbas said to me: "O Sa'id, do you have a wife?" I said: "No." He said: "Then when you return, get married." He said: So I returned to him, and he said: "O Sa'id, have you gotten married?" I said: "No." He said: "Get married, for the best of this nation were those among them who had the most wives."
حدثنا علي بن عاصم، عن عطاء، عن سعيد، قال: قال لي ابن عباس: " يا سعيد، ألك امرأة؟ " قال: قلت: لا، قال: فإذا رجعت فتزوج، قال: فعدت إليه، فقال: " يا سعيد أتزوجت؟ "، قال: قلت: لا، قال: " تزوج فإن خير هذه الأمة كان أكثرهم نساء "
