Yunus narrated to us, Fulayh narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Wa'lah, who said: I asked Ibn Abbas and said: "We are in a land where we have vineyards, and most of its produce is wine." He said: A man from Daws came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, with a waterskin of wine that he gifted to him. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to him: "Do you know that Allah has prohibited it after you?" The owner of the waterskin turned to a person who was with him and gave him an order. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "What did you order him to do?" He said: "To sell it." He said: "Do you know that He who prohibited drinking it has prohibited selling it and consuming its price?" He said: So he ordered the waterskin to be poured out, and it was poured out.
