Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:4
Hashim narrated to us, Yazid ibn Abi Ziyad narrated to us, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, performed Tawaf of the House while he was upon his camel, and he touched the Stone with a crooked staff he had with him. He said: And he came to the watering place and said, "Give me to drink." They said, "Indeed, the people wade into this, but we will bring you [water] from the house." He said, "I have no need of that; give me to drink from what the people drink from."
حدثنا هشيم، حدثنا يزيد بن أبي زياد، عن عكرمة، عن ابن عباس، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم طاف بالبيت وهو على بعيره، واستلم الحجر بمحجن كان معه، قال: وأتى السقاية، فقال: " اسقوني "، فقالوا: إن هذا يخوضه الناس، ولكنا نأتيك به من البيت، فقال: " لا حاجة لي فيه، اسقوني مما يشرب منه الناس "
