Musnad Ahmad 25:404

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from ‘Ikrimah, from Ibn ‘Abbas, who said: "Revelation was sent down upon the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while he was forty years old. He remained in Makkah for thirteen years, and in Al-Madinah for ten years. He died while he was sixty-three years old."
