Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:42
Marwan narrated to us, Khasif narrated to us, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, only forbade the garment that is solid [made entirely] of silk." Ibn Abbas said: "As for the warp and the decorative border, we do not see any harm in them."
حدثنا مروان، حدثنا خصيف، عن عكرمة، عن ابن عباس، قال: " إنما نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الثوب المصمت من قز " قال ابن عباس: " أما السدى والعلم فلا نرى به بأسا "
