Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:459
'Affan narrated to us, Aban ibn Yazid narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Abu al-'Aliyah al-Riyahi, from the cousin of your Prophet—meaning Ibn 'Abbas—that the Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to supplicate with these supplications at times of distress: "There is no god but Allah, the Knowing, the Magnificent. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Noble Throne."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا أبان بن يزيد، حدثنا قتادة، عن أبي العالية الرياحي، عن ابن عم نبيكم يعني ابن عباس، أن نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، كان يدعو بهذه الدعوات عند الكرب: " لا إله إلا الله العليم العظيم، لا إله إلا الله رب العرش العظيم، لا إله إلا الله رب السماوات السبع ورب العرش الكريم "
