مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:465
Affan narrated to us, Thabit—meaning Ibn Yazid—narrated to us, Hilal narrated to us, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas: "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would spend consecutive nights hungry, and his family would not find dinner." He said: "And the majority of their bread was barley bread."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا ثابت يعني ابن يزيد، حدثنا هلال، عن عكرمة، عن ابن عباس: " أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يبيت الليالي المتتابعة طاويا، وأهله لا يجدون عشاء، قال: وكان عامة خبزهم خبز الشعير "
