مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:477
Mu'awiyah ibn 'Amr narrated to us, Za'idah narrated to us, from Simak ibn Harb, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Fast upon seeing it, and break your fast upon seeing it. If a cloud (ghayah) obscures it from you, then complete the count, and the month is twenty-nine"—meaning that it is incomplete.
حدثنا معاوية بن عمرو، حدثنا زائدة، عن سماك بن حرب، عن عكرمة، عن ابن عباس، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " صوموا لرؤيته، وأفطروا لرؤيته، فإن حال دونه غياية، فأكملوا العدة، والشهر تسع وعشرون، - يعني أنه ناقص - "
