Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:501
Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, who said: A man narrated to me, from Abdullah ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid ibn Jabr, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered one hundred camels as a sacrificial offering during the Farewell Pilgrimage. He slaughtered thirty of them with his own hand, then he commanded Ali, and he slaughtered the remainder of them. He said: "Distribute their meat, their coverings, and their skins among the people, and do not give the butcher anything from them. Take for us a piece of meat from every camel, then put it in one pot, so that we may eat from its meat and drink from its broth." And he did so.
حدثنا يعقوب، حدثنا أبي، عن ابن إسحاق، قال: حدثني رجل، عن عبد الله بن أبي نجيح، عن مجاهد بن جبر، عن ابن عباس قال: أهدى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، في حجة الوداع مائة بدنة، نحر منها ثلاثين بدنة بيده، ثم أمر عليا فنحر ما بقي منها، وقال: " اقسم لحومها وجلالها وجلودها بين الناس، ولا تعطين جزارا منها شيئا، وخذ لنا من كل بعير حذية من لحم، ثم اجعلها في قدر واحدة، حتى نأكل من لحمها، ونحسو من مرقها " ففعل
