Musnad Ahmad 25:507

Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, Salih ibn Kaysan narrated to me, from Abdullah ibn al-Fadl ibn Abbas ibn Rabi'ah, from Nafi' ibn Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from Abdullah ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The previously married woman has more right to her own affair than her guardian, and the orphan girl is to be consulted regarding herself, and her silence is her permission."
