Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)

مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم

Hadith 25:536

Husayn—meaning Ibn Muhammad—narrated to us, Shayban narrated to us, from Mansur, from al-Hakam, from Ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, that he said: A man was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) who had been killed by his riding beast while he was in the state of Ihram. He said: "Shroud him, and do not cover his head, and do not touch him with perfume, for he will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection reciting the Talbiyah—or he said: reciting the Tahlil."

حدثنا حسين يعني ابن محمد، حدثنا شيبان، عن منصور، عن الحكم، عن ابن جبير، عن ابن عباس، أنه قال: ذكر لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم رجل وقصته راحلته، وهو محرم فقال: " كفنوه ولا تغطوا رأسه، ولا تمسوه طيبا، فإنه يبعث يوم القيامة وهو يلبي - أو وهو يهل -
