Hadith 25:557
Hassan ibn Musa narrated to us, Qaza’ah—meaning Ibn Suwayd—narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Abi Najih narrated to me, from Mujahid, from Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I do not ask you for any reward for what I have brought you of clear proofs and guidance, except that you love Allah, and that you draw near to Him through obedience to Him."
حدثنا حسن بن موسى، حدثنا قزعة يعني ابن سويد، حدثني عبد الله بن أبي نجيح، عن مجاهد، عن ابن عباس، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا أسألكم على ما أتيتكم به من البينات والهدى أجرا، إلا أن توادوا الله ، وأن تقربوا إليه بطاعته "
