Musnad Ahmad 25:603

Hussain narrated to us, Ibn Abi al-Zinad narrated to us, from his father, from Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Ata ibn Alqama al-Qurashi, who said: We entered the house of Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and we found Abdullah ibn Abbas there. We mentioned [the issue of] performing ablution after eating what has been touched by fire. Abdullah said: "I have seen the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, eat from what has been touched by fire, then he would pray and not perform ablution." Some of us said to him: "Did you see him, O Ibn Abbas?" He said: "He pointed with his hand to his eyes and said: 'My eyes saw it.'"
