Musnad Ahmad 25:623

Abu Ahmad narrated to us, Ubayd Allah ibn Abd Allah ibn Mawhab narrated to us, he said: Nafi ibn Jubayr informed me, from Ibn Abbas, from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, that he said: "The previously married woman has more right over her own affair than her guardian. And the virgin is to be asked for permission regarding herself, and her silence is her consent."
