Hassan ibn al-Rabi' narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from al-Ja'd Abu 'Uthman, from Abu Raja', from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever sees something from his leader that he dislikes, let him be patient, for whoever separates from the community by a span and then dies, his death is a death of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance)."
