Mu'awiyah, who is Ibn 'Amr, narrated to us, Zaidah narrated to us, Habib ibn Abi 'Amrah narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the *duba'* (gourd), the *hantam* (green-glazed jar), the *muzaffat* (pitch-coated vessel), and the *naqir* (hollowed-out log), and that *balah* (unripe dates) and *zahw* (partially ripened dates) be mixed together."
