Musnad Ahmad 25:646

Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr narrated to us, Ibrahim—meaning Ibn Nafi'—narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Dinar, from 'Ata', from Ibn 'Abbas, that a sheep died in one of the houses of the wives of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Why did you not make use of its skin?"
