Hadith 25:660
'Affan narrated to us, Ja'far bin Sulayman narrated to us, al-Ja'd Abu 'Uthman narrated to us, from Abu Raja' al-'Utaridi, from Ibn 'Abbas, from the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), in what he narrated from his Lord, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Indeed, your Lord, Blessed and Exalted is He, is Merciful. Whoever intends a good deed but does not do it, a good deed is written for him. If he does it, ten good deeds are written for him, up to seven hundred, up to many multiples. And whoever intends a bad deed but does not do it, a good deed is written for him. If he does it, one is written for him, or Allah erases it. And none perishes before Allah, the Exalted, except one who is doomed."
