Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:666
'Affan narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from Jabir, from 'Ammar, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, he said: 'Abdullah narrated to me—'Affan did not attribute him to more than 'Abdullah—he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever sees me in a dream, then he has seen me, for the devil does not imagine [himself] in my form." And 'Affan said once: "Does not imagine me."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا أبو عوانة، عن جابر، عن عمار، عن سعيد بن جبير، قال: حدثني عبد الله، - لم ينسبه عفان أكثر من عبد الله - قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من رآني في المنام، فإياي رأى، فإن الشيطان لا يتخيل بي "، وقال عفان مرة: " لا يتخيلني "
