Hadith 25:69
Sufyan narrated to us, from Layth, from a man, from Ibn Abbas, that he said to her: "You were only named 'Mother of the Believers' so that you might be happy, and it was indeed your name before you were born."
حدثنا سفيان، عن ليث، عن رجل، عن ابن عباس، أنه قال لها: " إنما سميت أم المؤمنين لتسعدي، وإنه لاسمك قبل أن تولدي "
