Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:698
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, combined the Dhuhr and 'Asr prayers in Medina, without being in a state of travel or fear." I said: "O Abu al-'Abbas, why did he do that?" He said: "He wanted not to cause hardship to anyone from his Ummah."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق، حدثنا سفيان، عن أبي الزبير، عن سعيد بن جبير، عن ابن عباس، قال: " جمع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، بين الظهر والعصر بالمدينة، في غير سفر ولا خوف "، قال: قلت يا أبا العباس: ولم فعل ذلك؟ قال: " أراد أن لا يحرج أحدا من أمته "
