Musnad Ahmad 25:713

Abdullah narrated to us, he said: I found in my father’s book in his handwriting, he said: Ubaydullah ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Thabit al-Abdi al-Asri narrated to me, he said: Jabalah ibn Atiyyah narrated to us, from Ishaq ibn Abdullah, from Abdullah ibn Abbas, he said: "I stayed as a guest with Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and she is my maternal aunt. It was a night when she was not praying. She took a cloak and folded it, and placed a cushion upon it, then she threw another cloak over it, then she entered into it, and she spread a mat for me beside her, and I reclined with her on her pillow. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came, and he had already prayed the late night prayer (Isha). He took a piece of cloth and wrapped it around his waist, cast aside his garment, and entered into her quilt with her. He spent the night until, when it was the last part of the night, he stood up to a hanging water skin and moved it. I intended to stand up and pour water for him, but I disliked that he should see that I had been awake. He said: So he performed ablution, then came to the bed, took his two garments, and cast aside the piece of cloth. Then he came to the mosque and stood in it praying. I stood up to the water skin and performed ablution, then I came to the mosque and stood to his left. He took hold of me and placed me to his right. He prayed, and I prayed with him thirteen rak'ahs. Then he sat, and I sat beside him. He placed his elbow against my side and leaned his cheek against my cheek, until I heard the breathing of a sleeper. While I was like that, Bilal came and said: 'The prayer, O Messenger of Allah.' So he walked to the mosque, and I followed him. He stood up to pray the two rak'ahs of dawn, and Bilal began the iqamah."
