Hadith 25:714

Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Tamimi, from Ibn Abbas, and he mentioned something. He said: "And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to frequently use the siwak." He said: "Until we thought—or we saw—that it would be revealed concerning it."

حدثنا ابن مهدي، عن سفيان، عن أبي إسحاق، عن التميمي، عن ابن عباس، فذكر شيئا قال: " وكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يكثر السواك " قال: حتى ظننا - أو رأينا - أنه سينزل عليه
