Musnad Ahmad 25:723

Narrated to us Muhammad ibn Ja'far, narrated to us Shu'bah, from 'Amr ibn Dinar, from Jabir ibn Zayd, from Ibn 'Abbas, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: That he prayed seven [rak'ahs] together, and eight [rak'ahs] together.
