'Attab narrated to us, 'Abdullah narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah informed us, from al-Hakam, from Maymun ibn Mihran, from Ibn 'Abbas: "That he forbade every beast of prey with a canine tooth, and every bird with a talon." Al-Hakam attributed it to the Prophet (marfu'), but Shu'bah said: "And I dislike to narrate it as being attributed to the Prophet (marfu')." He said: Ghaylan and al-Hajjaj narrated to me, from Maymun ibn Mihran, from Ibn 'Abbas, and they did not attribute it to the Prophet (marfu').
