Hadith 25:767
Ahmad ibn Abd al-Malik narrated to us, Ubayd Allah narrated to us, from Abd al-Karim, from Qays ibn Hubtar, that Ibn Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) forbade the price of wine, the dowry of a prostitute, and the price of a dog. And he said: "If its owner comes seeking its price, fill his palms with dust."
حدثنا أحمد بن عبد الملك، حدثنا عبيد الله، عن عبد الكريم، عن قيس بن حبتر، أن ابن عباس، قال: نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن ثمن الخمر، ومهر البغي، وثمن الكلب، وقال: " إذا جاء صاحبه يطلب ثمنه، فاملأ كفيه ترابا "
