Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)
مسند عبد الله بن العباس بن عبد المطلب (1) ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم
Hadith 25:795
'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, 'Ali ibn Zayd informed us, from Yusuf ibn Mihran, from Ibn 'Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no one among the children of Adam except that he has committed a sin, or has contemplated a sin, except for Yahya ibn Zakariyya. And it is not appropriate for anyone to say: 'I am better than Yunus ibn Matta.'"
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا حماد بن سلمة، أخبرنا علي بن زيد، عن يوسف بن مهران، عن ابن عباس، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " ما من أحد من ولد آدم، إلا قد أخطأ، أو هم بخطيئة، ليس يحيى بن زكريا، وما ينبغي لأحد أن يقول: أنا خير من يونس بن متى "
