'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, 'Ali bin Zayd informed us, from Yusuf bin Mahran, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to us with Usamah riding behind him. We gave him some of this nabidh (a drink made from soaked dates or raisins) to drink—meaning the nabidh of the watering place—and he drank from it. He then said: "You have done well; do it like this."
