Yunus narrated to us, al-Bara’—meaning Ibn Abdullah al-Ghanawi—narrated to us, from Abu Nadrah, who said: Ibn Abbas was upon the pulpit of the people of Basra, and I heard him saying: "Indeed, the Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to seek refuge at the end of his prayer from four things. He would say: 'I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave, and I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the Fire, and I seek refuge in Allah from the trials, what is apparent of them and what is hidden, and I seek refuge in Allah from the trial of the one-eyed liar.'"
