Hadith 25:837

Hassan narrated to us, Shaiban narrated to us, from Yahya, who said: And Abu Salamah informed me, from Aisha and Ibn Abbas: That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, remained in Makkah for ten years, during which the Quran was revealed to him, and in Al-Madinah for ten [years].

حدثنا حسن، حدثنا شيبان، عن يحيى، قال: وأخبرني أبو سلمة، عن عائشة، وابن عباس: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " لبث بمكة عشر سنين ينزل عليه القرآن، وبالمدينة عشرا
