Aswad ibn Amir narrated to us, Israel narrated to us, from Uthman—meaning Ibn al-Mughirah—from Mujahid, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I saw Isa ibn Maryam, Musa, and Ibrahim. As for Isa, he was reddish-white, curly-haired, and broad-chested. As for Musa, he was dark-skinned and large-bodied." They said to him: "And Ibrahim?" He said: "Look at your companion," meaning himself.
