Hadith 25:94
Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Amr, from Muhammad ibn Hunayn, from Ibn ‘Abbas: I am amazed at those who precede the month, while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has said: "Do not fast until you see it," or he said: "Fast for its sighting."
حدثنا سفيان، عن عمرو، عن محمد بن حنين، عن ابن عباس، عجبت ممن يتقدم الشهر، وقد قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا تصوموا حتى تروه "، أو قال: " صوموا لرؤيته "
