Musnad Ahmad 25:962

Abu Umar al-Darir narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah informed us, from Ata’ ibn al-Sa’ib, from Sa’id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn Abbas, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When the night of my Isra’ (Night Journey) occurred, a pleasant scent came upon me. I said: 'O Gabriel, what is this pleasant scent?' He said: 'This is the scent of the hairdresser of Pharaoh’s daughter and her children.'" He said: "I said: 'What is her story?' He said: 'While she was combing the hair of Pharaoh’s daughter one day, the comb fell from her hands, so she said: "In the name of Allah." Pharaoh’s daughter said to her: "My father?" She said: "No, rather my Lord and the Lord of your father is Allah." She said: "Shall I tell him that?" She said: "Yes." So she told him, and he summoned her and said: "O so-and-so, do you have a lord other than me?" She said: "Yes, my Lord and your Lord is Allah."'" "He ordered a cow made of copper to be brought and heated. Then he ordered that she and her children be thrown into it. She said to him: "I have a request for you." He said: "What is your request?" She said: "I would like you to gather my bones and the bones of my children in one cloth and bury us." He said: "That is for you upon us as a right."'" "He said: 'He ordered her children to be thrown before her, one by one, until it reached a nursing infant of hers. It was as if she hesitated for his sake. He said: "O mother, throw yourself in, for the punishment of this world is lighter than the punishment of the Hereafter." So she threw herself in.'" Ibn Abbas said: "Four infants spoke: Jesus, son of Mary (peace be upon him), the companion of Jurayj, the witness of Joseph, and the son of the hairdresser of Pharaoh’s daughter."
