Abu Kamil narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Zayd narrated to us, al-Ja'd Abu 'Uthman narrated to us, Abu Raja' al-'Utaridi narrated to me, narrating it from Ibn 'Abbas, narrating it from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Whoever among the people dislikes something from his ruler, let him be patient, for there is no one among the people who departs from the authority by a span, then dies, except that he dies a death of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance)."
