Hadith 25:970
Bahz narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, he said: Qatadah informed us, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed Tawaf around the House seven times, and he performed Sa'i with vigor. He only performed Sa'i [in that manner] because he wanted to show the people his strength.
حدثنا بهز، حدثنا همام، قال: أخبرنا قتادة، عن عكرمة، عن ابن عباس، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " طاف بالبيت سبعا، وسعى سعيا ، وإنما سعى أحب أن يري الناس قوته "
