Musnad Ahmad 25:973

Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (RA), from the Prophet (SAW)

Hadith 25:973

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, my father narrated to me, Ayyub narrated to me, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was asked on the Day of Sacrifice. It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, a man slaughtered before he threw [the pebbles], or shaved before he slaughtered." He said: "There is no harm." He said: So he was not asked about anything on that day except that he gestured with his palms as if he were throwing with them, and said: "There is no harm, there is no harm."
