Rawh narrated to us, Ath-Thawri narrated to us, Salamah ibn Kuhayl narrated to us, from al-Hasan al-'Arani, from Ibn Abbas, who said: We arrived at the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the night of Muzdalifah, as young boys of Banu Abd al-Muttalib, on our small donkeys. He began to pat our thighs with his hand and said: "O my sons, do not stone the Jamrah until the sun rises." Ibn Abbas said: I do not think anyone stones the Jamrah until the sun rises.
