Hadith 44:10
Rawh narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, he said: I heard Muhammad ibn ‘Abbad ibn Ja‘far, he said: Abu Salamah ibn Sufyan, and ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘As, and ‘Abdullah ibn al-Musayyib al-‘Abidi informed me, from ‘Abdullah ibn al-Sa’ib, he said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in the morning prayer, and he began [reciting] Surah al-Mu’minun. When he reached the mention of Musa and Harun—or the mention of ‘Isa, Muhammad ibn ‘Abbad was in doubt, they differed regarding it—a cough seized the Prophet (ﷺ), so he skipped [the rest of the verse/passage] and bowed. He said: And Ibn al-Sa’ib was present for that.
حدثنا روح، حدثنا ابن جريج، قال: سمعت محمد بن عباد بن جعفر، قال: أخبرني أبو سلمة بن سفيان، وعبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص، وعبد الله بن المسيب العابدي، عن عبد الله بن السائب، قال: " صلى بنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم الصبح، فاستفتح سورة المؤمنين، حتى إذا جاء ذكر موسى وهارون - أو ذكر عيسى، محمد بن عباد شك، اختلفوا عليه - أخذت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم سعلة فحذف، فركع " قال: وابن السائب حاضر ذلك
