Hadith 44:4
Hajjaj narrated to us, he said: Ibn Jurayj said: I heard Muhammad ibn ‘Abbad ibn Ja‘far, he said: Abu Salamah ibn Sufyan, and ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘As, and ‘Abdullah ibn al-Musayyib al-‘Abidi informed me, from ‘Abdullah ibn al-Sa’ib, "That the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, prayed the morning prayer in Makkah." He said: "He began [reciting] Surah al-Mu’minun. When he reached the mention of Musa and Harun—or the mention of ‘Isa, Muhammad ibn ‘Abbad is doubtful, and they differed regarding it—a cough seized the Prophet, so he bowed." He said: And Ibn al-Sa’ib was present for that.
حدثنا حجاج، قال: قال ابن جريج: سمعت محمد بن عباد بن جعفر، قال: أخبرني أبو سلمة بن سفيان، وعبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص، وعبد الله بن المسيب العابدي ، عن عبد الله بن السائب، " أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى الصبح بمكة " قال: " فافتتح سورة المؤمنين فلما انتهى إلى ذكر موسى وهارون - أو ذكر عيسى محمد بن عباد يشك، فاختلفوا عليه - أخذت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم سعلة، فركع " قال: وابن السائب حاضر ذلك
