Hadith 44:6
Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Muslim ibn Abi al-Waddah narrated to us, from Abd al-Karim al-Jazari, from Mujahid, from Abdullah ibn al-Sa’ib, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to pray four [units of prayer] before the Dhuhr [prayer] after the sun had passed its zenith. And he would say: "Indeed, the gates of the heaven are opened, so I love that a righteous deed of mine should ascend therein."
حدثنا أبو داود الطيالسي، قال: حدثنا محمد بن مسلم بن أبي الوضاح، عن عبد الكريم الجزري، عن مجاهد، عن عبد الله بن السائب، قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي قبل الظهر بعد الزوال أربعا، ويقول: " إن أبواب السماء تفتح، فأحب أن أقدم فيها عملا صالحا "
