Hadith 44:7
Hawdha ibn Khalifah narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Muhammad ibn ‘Abbad said: He narrated a hadith to me, which he traced back to Abu Salamah ibn Sufyan and ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr, from ‘Abdullah ibn al-Sa’ib, who said: "I was present with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, on the day of the Conquest, and he prayed facing the Ka’bah. He took off his sandals and placed them to his left. Then he began the Surah of the Believers (Al-Mu’minun). When the mention of ‘Isa (Jesus) or Musa (Moses) came, a cough seized him, so he bowed."
حدثنا هوذة بن خليفة، أخبرنا ابن جريج، قال محمد بن عباد: حدثني حديثا، رفعه إلى أبي سلمة بن سفيان، وعبد الله بن عمرو، عن عبد الله بن السائب، قال: " حضرت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم الفتح وصلى في قبل الكعبة، فخلع نعليه، فوضعهما عن يساره، ثم استفتح سورة المؤمنين، فلما جاء ذكر عيسى أو موسى أخذته سعلة فركع "
