Musnad Ahmad 28:102

Abu Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Haywah narrated to us, Abu Hani’ informed me that he heard Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Hubuli saying: I heard Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Indeed, the poor of the Muhajirun will precede the wealthy on the Day of Resurrection by forty autumns." Abdullah said: "If you wish, we will give you from what we have, and if you wish, we will mention your matter to the authority." They said: "We will be patient and will not ask for anything."
