Musnad Ahmad 28:146

Musa ibn Dawud and Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, they said: Fulayh ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Hilal ibn Ali, from Ata ibn Yasar, who said: I met Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As and said: "Inform me of the description of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, in the Torah." He said: "Yes, by Allah, he is indeed described in the Torah by his description in the Quran: 'O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner' [Al-Ahzab: 45], and a protector for the unlettered. You are My servant and My messenger; I have named you 'the Trusting' (al-Mutawakkil). You are not harsh, nor severe, nor loud-voiced in the marketplaces." Yunus said: "Nor loud-voiced in the marketplaces." "And he does not repel evil with evil, but he pardons and forgives. And Allah will not take his soul until He establishes through him the crooked religion, by them saying: 'There is no god but Allah,' so that He may open thereby blind eyes, deaf ears, and covered hearts." Ata said: I met Ka'b and asked him, and they did not differ by a single letter, except that Ka'b said in his dialect: "Blind eyes (a'yunun 'umumi), deaf ears (adhanun sumumi), and covered hearts (qulubun ghulufi)." Yunus said: "Ghulufi."
