Musnad Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-Aas (RA)

مسند عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص (1) رضي الله عنهما

Hadith 28:17

Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Amr, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja‘d, from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘As, that there was a man who was in charge of the baggage of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace—and he said once: in charge of the supplies—who was called Karkarah. He died, so he [the Prophet] said: "He is in the Fire." They looked, and behold, upon him was a cloak that he had misappropriated from the spoils of war. And he said once: or a garment that he had misappropriated.

حدثنا سفيان، عن عمرو، عن سالم بن أبي الجعد، عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص، وكان على رحل - وقال: مرة على ثقل - النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم رجل يقال له: كركرة، فمات، فقال: " هو في النار " فنظروا فإذا عليه عباءة قد غلها، وقال مرة: أو كساء قد غله
