Musnad Ahmad 28:189

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from ‘Amr ibn Shu‘ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "When a man marries a virgin, he shall stay with her for three days."
