Musnad Ahmad 28:218

Yazid narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from ‘Amr ibn Shu‘ayb, from his father, from his grandfather: "That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) combined the two prayers while traveling."
